We spend enough time in the kitchen to have a respectable desire that the space feel comfortable, welcoming, even fresh. Not only the kitchen itself, but the appliances we use should be really enjoyable. It doesn’t end at a spacious fridge. Making food is fun when the food processor, coffee maker, and blender are clean. Even better: beautiful. Red microwave ovens are an exciting way to add spice and splendor to any kitchen. The hand mixer goes back in the cabinet. Red microwaves stay on the counter. It’s well worth the fun paint job.
If you walked by a front yard with an old red microwave for sale sitting there amongst old shoes and a broken TV set, you might not be so inspired. It might even look cheesy. But at home, on a marble or wood counter, that red microwave oven turns into real class. With white, chrome, or black appliances to complement, your kitchen will be the talk of the town. It might even feel like you’ve found the ruby in a black and white film.
Now you wonder if you’ll actually be able to find modern day red microwaves for sale? Don’t doubt today’s appliance industry. An Emerson red microwave with steel or black accents can cost you under $50. A GE red microwave, also around $50, looks more like it strutted out of the 1980’s or off a UFO, but that means it has a lot of character. The Magic Chef red microwave also has a fun look to it. For a mid range price, at $90, it is a great buy. The R330NR Sharp red microwave, $274, oven was designed specifically “targeted at design conscious consumers.” For your oven accessories, consider the KitchenAid red microwave mat, a mere $12 and a hot addition.
Buying with style doesn’t mean that you’ll have to sacrifice function at all. Most of these models offer high wattage outputs, numerous output panels, large glass turntables, and even pictorial key sheets if you wanted them. You’ll pay for the extra gadgets and higher wattage, as with any other appliance. Red means style. It doesn’t mean a budget breaker.
Whatever model you choose, and there are more than enough to choose from, let that red countertop microwave strut it’s stuff. If you give it space on the counter, it will happily make itself the stylish centerpiece of the entire room. That is called easy remodeling.
