Ingredients: Rice Pilaf Recipe
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/4 cup of finely diced celery
- 1 tablespoon of garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3/4 cup un-cooked long grain rice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of instant chicken or vegetable bouillon
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
1. In a medium sauce pan sauté the onion, mushrooms, celery and garlic in olive oil on high. (450) for 2-3 minutes.
2. Carefully, stir in rice, bouillon, pepper and add 1 1/2 cup of water. Bring to a boil on high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low (175) simmer covered for 15 minutes or until tender and liquid is absorbed.
